Born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Brett Holland grew up working in the family business with his late father Mike Holland since the mid-90s. Brett’s father, referred to by many as a pioneer in the swimming pool industry, wasted little time grooming his youngest of two sons. As a senior in high school, Brett worked 55 hours a week learning all the different trades of pool construction. After 13 years, Brett had a desire to create his “own” waves in the water, and decided to leave the family business in 2010. Over the course of the next decade, Brett was hired to manage (4) different Top 50 National Pool Builders according to the Pool and Spa News. This allowed him to design and build watershapes throughout the State of Florida from Jacksonville, down the East Coast to the Keys, as well as Ocala and Tampa.
In 2018 he served as the President for the Florida Swimming Pool Association (Palm Beach Chapter) as well as the State Board of Directors, where he was awarded Director of the Year. He has worked with many Building Officials throughout the State, bringing clarity of the Florida Building Code, and National ANSI standards to the local building departments. Considered a leader in “alternative” sanitation. Brett’s passion is creating full system designs that remove 99.9999% of bacteria in all the vessels while maintaining a 95% chemical reduction. To put this into perspective, Brett’s Signature Designs have less chlorine then the water coming out of your faucet!
Brett is currently enrolled at the Watershape University, and is a member of the International Watershape Institute (IWI). This is where he is constantly expanding his knowledge for everything aquatics, including design, hydraulics, structural design, and business. When Brett is not working, you can usually find him by the water or in his music studio.
